Nancy Blum Monograph
Announcing Nancy Blum's First Book
This lavishly illustrated, 144-page, hardbound book surveys nearly 20 years of Nancy Blum's drawings, sculptures, and public art works, offering a multivalent overview of the artist’s achievements at mid-career.
It includes a foreword by multi-disciplinary theater artist and filmmaker Nikki Appino; a conversation between Blum and Eric Brenner, professor of biology at Pace University; and an essay by curator and editor Ashley Kistler, who also developed the book’s thematic structure. Scout Design, a Richmond, VA-based studio with a reputation for producing outstanding art books and exhibition catalogues, oversaw the design and production of the book.
